Teaching

The classroom as an alternative space for dialogue, reflection, and critical inquiry.

Teaching Philosophy

In an increasingly polarized world, where students often encounter social and political life through digital environments that encourage categorical thinking and discourage sustained deliberation, I see the classroom as an alternative space for meaningful and constructive engagement with political conflict. I encourage students to engage with competing perspectives, explore multiple interpretations of texts and historical events, connect theoretical ideas to lived experiences, and develop independent analytical voices. My teaching emphasizes dialogue, critical reflection, and openness to diverse identities, experiences, and perspectives as essential resources for collective learning.

Teaching Across Contexts

I have over a decade of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students in Israel, Germany, and the United States. Working across different academic and cultural environments has shaped my commitment to inclusive and reflective teaching practices. I approach differences in students’ backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives not only as something to recognize and respect, but as opportunities to deepen critical inquiry and collective learning.
